By: Liliya Shoemaker

Alpha Delta Pi, the Zeta Delta Chapter of the University of Montevallo hosted their annual Zaxby's Night. The event took place November 4th at Zaxby's in Calera from 5 to 9 PM. ADPi sisters and friends came out to support the Ronald McDonald House.

ADPi sisters volunteered their time to raise money and awareness for RMH. Zaxby's donated 10% of their proceeds during the event hours to the RMH. Zaxby's Nights are usually hosted three times a year. Last year ADPi raised over $300 for one of these events.

Suzie Foster Lowery, the chapter advisor and UM Alum, says that Zaxby's Nights have been very successful over the last three years. ADPi plans to partner with Zaxby's in the future to continue to raise money for RMHC.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities help families with their financial burdens like housing while their children are undergoing cancel treatment. RMHC help families with their housing and other expenses so the families can stay together.

By the end of 2014, RMHC will have 300 local Chapters in 62 countries and regions with:
 350 Ronald McDonald Houses
195 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms
52 Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles
Grants to non-profit organizations that also focus on the needs of children
Scholarships to students across the United States
