Up Close With Stacy Daniels

Stacy Daniels is one of the more involved students on campus. He is presently involved in over eight on campus organizations. The name of the organizations that he is involved in are Alpha Kappa Lambda, NAfME, the University concert choir, the ACDA, the Opera Ensemble, Gold Side leader, is a Montevallo Maven, and a Orientation Leader.

It is becuase of all of his involvment on campus that made him decide that he wanted to run for Mr. Montevallo. Mr. Montevallo is a title given to one male student. Stacy Daniels had this to say about Mr. Montevallo "Mr. and Mrs. Montevallo signifies who has given themselves to the university."

This year for the first time ever there was a run off vote between Stacy and Seth Smith the Purple Side Leader. "I was very Scared that I was not   going to win, but i am very happy with the   results." said Stacy.

Even though Stacy was scared he did come out on top and won the run off vote. Now the final three contenders for Mr. Montevallo are Stacy Daniels, Kevin Britt, and Eddie Davis. Final voting for Mr. Montevallo will take place next semester.

With all of this on his plate it is surprising that he is not as stressed out more than he is. His friend Marcus Moore said "He does a good job most of the time trying to cover it up and being happy and kind to others."

Stacy may be busy most of the time with all of his classes and organizations that he is involved in but he still tries to make time to hang out with his friends and family. If you would like to see my full interview with Stacy click here.
