Making Friends

By BJ Edwards

With a box of animals and a handful of stuffing, this year's Stuff-A-Friend UPC Event went off without a hitch. Montevallo students flocked to Anna Irvin Dining Hall for their chance to make a new furry friend.

The annual event always draws a large number of students and can be called one of UPC's more successful events. However, with the large influx of students that the university experienced this year, it made the already popular event flourish.

The sheer number of students was incredible, forming a lie that stretched well past the door, through both arches of Anna Irvin, and straight up the cobblestone path.

Unfortunately, the numbers were too great and many of the animals began to run out starting with the monkeys, then the cows, and eventually the last lion was stuffed and taken home.

Three year UPC Member Artemus Hill tells us that this has been the most successful Stuff-A-Friend that he has ever seen.
